Street Race / SR275
1/8th mile eliminator based on John Sears' Ultra Street rules. Rules are subject to change if John's rules change.

BODY:
* Must have working headlights, tail lights, stock appearing interior, carpet, door panels, factory style dash, stock floor pans and stock firewall. Firewall may be notched or smoothed as long as it remains intact and in the stock location.
* Fiberglass/Carbon body panels are limited to hood, rear deck lid, fenders, doors, and bumpers. Must be neat in appearance and not change the basic vehicle dimensions.

* Lexan windows permitted. Must be neat in appearance.
* Hood height limited to maximum 8" tall measured from the tallest part of the hood to base of the windshield (measured with a level sitting on the tallest part of the hood).

* Forward facing air inlet feeding induction on any combo add 50lbs.

* Must measure within 1" of factory wheelbase, body may not be moved from stock location
* All vehicles must maintain a minimum ride height of at least 2.5" while at rest and at race weight. No part my hang down lower that 2.5" off the ground including exhaust.
* No part of the car may protrude more than 45" forward of the front spindle centerline.


INTERIOR:
* Aftermarket steering columns are allowed.

* Must have carpet and factory type dash

ELECTRONICS:
* Optical devices are prohibited.

* Any ignition or EFI permitted.
* Progressive nitrous controllers & programmable boost controllers allowed.


ENGINE:
* Aftermarket blocks and cylinder heads are allowed.

* All entries must utilize a single carburetor cast intake manifold.

* Motor plates and solid mounts are allowed. Engine must be in stock location and not touching the stock location firewall.

* Mufflers are required on all vehicles except turbocharged combos.

* All SB power adder engines are limited to 440 cubic inches.

* BOP nitrous engines limited to 470ci

* SB N/A up to 480 cubic inch permitted with added 7 lbs. per cubic inch over 470.

* BB N/A limited to 640.

* Any engine in question will be measured with a P&G gauge. A correction factor of 1.5% will be used on P&G measurements. Competitors may be required to remove a cylinder head for bore and stroke measurements should any discrepancies arise.

INDUCTION:
* Power adder small blocks and N/A BB combinations may use a single cast intake manifold with single carb or EFI.

* Small Block N/A may use cast tunnel ram/sheetmetal/dual carbs w/weight penalty (See*below)

POWER ADDERS:
* Power adders limited to SB and BOP entries.

* Progressive nitrous controllers are allowed.

* Nitrous entries must utilize a single stage nitrous plate with all nitrous lines feeding the plate originating from the same solenoid or distribution fitting.

* Foggers must be disconnected and all solenoids must be capped off.

* Nitrous plates using fogger nozzles or multiple adjustable internal nitrous spray outlets are not allowed.
* Turbocharged (mid frame turbo only) and supercharged entries are limited to stock valve angle SB combos only. (SB CHEVY 23 DEGREE - SB FORD 20 DEGREE - 18 DEGREE MOPAR - FACTORY HEADED SMALL BLOCK FORD MOD MOTOR - LS CHEVY 15 DEGREE)
** NOTE: No raised runner heads permitted forced induction. SB Chevy 23 degree Raised Runner, SB Ford 20 degree (SR20, FT1 or T1RI or equivalent) not permitted with boosted combo

TRANSMISSION:
* Any OEM style automatic or manual transmission is allowed.

* Manual transmissions must utilize SFI approved bell housing.

REAR SUSPENSION:
* Stock type rear suspension or ladder bar only.

* Coil over shocks, anti-roll bars and aftermarket replacement control arms are allowed.

* Stock frame rails must be in factory location, notching permitted.

* Corvette permitted any type of transverse leaf spring rear suspension.

* Wheelie bars are prohibited on all cars.

FRONT SUSPENSION:
* Factory type front suspension only. Coil over shocks, aftermarket replacement control arms and aftermarket K-Members/Sub-Frames allowed.

WHEELS/TIRES:
* N/A entries allowed a 28 x 10.5 non W slick (N/A small block only), 28 x 12.50 ET Street or any 275 radial may be used.

* Power adder combos limited to a P275/60-15 DOT drag radial tire.

* Wheel width is limited to 12"

* All 15 degrees and above SB and BOP combos - 3200
* GM LS 15 degree & Ford TFS-R or TFS-TW with stock intake port location and height - 3100

* Alcohol/E85 legal (meth injection legal on non-intercooled combo only)
* All turbochargers (mid frame only) and superchargers must be as manufactured from factory
* No muffler required on turbo entry, required on all other combos
* No bull horns - front exit exhaust permitted but must not effect timing equipment
* Gear driven supercharger allowed
* Belt driven supercharger deduct 50 lbs
* Boosted LS 15*, TFS-R, TFS TW add 50 lbs (not permitted raised intake runner from factory height)
* Non intercooled boosted combos deduct 100lbs (no deduct if on Alcohol for fuel)

What's different between SR275 and Ultra Street?

What you may want to know if you are an Ultra Street racer coming to run in Street Race.

* Power adder combos limited to a P275/60-15 DOT drag radial tire.
Ultra limits power adder combos to the Mickey Thompson 3754R radial tire.

* V6 entries deduct 100lb
Ultra has V6s deducting 200lbs

* Single 4150 carb deduct 50lbs (N/A or NOS only). 4150 based throttle body not eligible for deduction.
Ultra gives the weight break to 4150 based throttle bodies.
* Boosted LS 15*, TFS-R, TFS TW add 50 lbs (not permitted raised intake runner from factory height)
Ultra doesn't permit TFS-R & TFS TW to run forced induction or specify LS must run OEM intake runner location.
* Non intercooled boosted combos deduct 100lbs (no deduct if on Alcohol for fuel)
Ultra only give a 50lb break for non-intercooled.

* Non intercooled boosted combos running E85 deduct 50lbs
Ultra does not give any weight break for E85 non intercooled.
* Front mount air to air intercooled boosted combos deduct 50lbs (no deduct if on Alcohol for fuel)
Ultra doesn't give any break for air to air intercoolers.
* Model years prior to 1979 or any year true leaf sprung rear suspension deduct 50lbs.
Ultra gives a 100lb break for leaf sprung vehicles and no break for pre-1979 bodies.
* D1, V-7 JT Trim, NOVI 2000, Kenny Bell 3.6 – 3100
Ultra doesn't give a weight for these smaller blowers.

* F1A & V-4 J Trim -3150
Ultra doesn't include the J-trim in this weight bracket.

* GT55-80 and equivalent – 3275 (Any other equivalent turbo must have prior approval.)
Ultra doesn’t list a weight for the GT55-80.
* Blue Thunder, Edelbrock SC1, SBX and equivalent cylinder heads – 3300

Ultra only lists the Blue Thunder head in this category.
* GM LS 15 degree & Ford TFS-R or TFS-TW with stock intake port location and height – 3100
Ultra doesn’t include the TFS-R and TFS-TW in this category and has standard port location 15* LS grouped in the 3200lb 15 degree and up category.

* GM LS 15 degree & Ford TFS-R or TFS-TW with raised intake port location – 3200
Ultra doesn’t include this weight group, all LS 15* engines run at 3200.
* Nitrous plates using fogger nozzles or multiple adjustable internal nitrous spray outlets are not allowed.
Ultra just states “nitrous plates using fogger nozzles are not allowed.”
* Nitrous entries must utilize a single stage nitrous plate with all nitrous lines feeding the plate originating from the same solenoid or distribution fitting.
Ultra states “entries must utilize a single stage nitrous plate with one nitrous, one fuel and one redundant purge solenoid.”
* BB N/A limited to 640.
Ultra limits at 632. This allows a 632 to get a clean up if a cylinder wall is scratched.
* BOP nitrous engines limited to 470ci
Ultra allows a nitrous BOP to go 588ci. Ultra also permits a big block Mopar to run nitrous at 588ci. Street Race does not permit BBM to use nitrous.

* C3/C302B/C302/Yates style - 3150
Ultra has these heads at 3100 which is 50lbs less than raised runner stack valve angle combos.

* Hood height limited to maximum 8" tall measured from the tallest part of the hood to base of the windshield (measured with a level sitting on the tallest part of the hood).
Ultra states “cowl hoods may not be taller than half way point of the windshield.”
* Forward facing air inlet feeding induction on any combo add 50lbs.
Ultra doesn't permit forced induction a forward air source and states “forward facing scoops are prohibited on power adder combos unless factory installed or less than 5 inches from flat area of hood.”
* Must measure within 1" of factory wheelbase, body may not be moved from stock location
* All vehicles must maintain a minimum ride height of at least 2.5" while at rest and at race weight. No part my hang down lower that 2.5" off the ground including exhaust.
* No part of the car may protrude more than 45" forward of the front spindle centerline.
Ultra doesn't include any of the above 3 body rules.

                       2013 OUTLAW DRAG RADIAL

This is an 1/8 mile heads-up class run on a .400 pro tree with a pro ladder. 
BODY: 
The car must retain its original appearance
, profiles, and dimensions. Factory roof and quarter panels must be used. 
Aftermarket fiberglass replacement panels are limited to hood, front fenders, doors,decklids, and bumpers only. 
All front ends must be of factory dimensions and cannot be stretched. 
Aftermarket wings and spoilers are permitted. 
Complete stock appearing front and rear bumpers are required. 
Forward facing hood scoops are permitted. 


INTERIOR: 
Factory appearing dashboard, door panels, and driver seat is required. 
Aftermarket steering column is permitted


WINDSHIELD/WINDOWS: 
OEM glass or lexan windows are permitted. 


CHASSIS: 
Complete stock firewall in stock location is required (firewall may be notched for clearance). 
Complete front and rear frame rails must be retained in stock location (frame rails may benotched for tire clearance). 
Aftermarket double frame rails are not permitted from firewall forward.
Front core support may be modified or removed. 
Aftermarket bolt-on replacement front
t K-members are allowed (front shocks bolted

Tube Chassis cars allowed  but must be stock appearing.NO Pro Mod Bodied Cars. Tube cars with Power Adders add 100 lbs to Weights.

Direct bolt in aftermarket parts permitted. Factory front frame must be connected to K-member or lower suspension component by welding or bolting. 

Double round tube frame rails from firewall forward prohibited. If utilizing a 1990 or older FACTORY A-ARMS deduct 50lbs from weights above.

5. Must be Street appearing, must have stock appearing dash and working lights, one piece fiberglass front ends permitted. 

One piece front ends permitted but must retain stock appearance and must have working lights. No panel cars.

6. Alcohol on NON intercooled cars only. Nitromethane PROHIBITED.

7. Pro Ladder 

8. Minimum ground clearance of 3" from the front of the nose to 12" behind centerline of the front axle.

9. Towing will be allowed, you must stop at scales, time slips can be picked up at scales.

10. Deep staging allowed, but track will not wait for a racer to get deep staged. When both pre-staged are activated, 

either side stage light will start a 7-second stage count. Failure to activate stage bulb within 7 seconds will result in disqualification/timeout. 

Disqualification will be based on a first or worse situation. Rules on controversial situations will be final at the discretion of the race director.

11. Head & Neck Restraint - MANDATORY

12. Lower engine containment device (Diaper) - MANDATORY

13. Maximum front overhang 45" From centerline of front spindle.

14. No car will be allowed to go faster than the chassis is certified for by NHRA.

15. Maximum tire size 33x10.5

16. Wheelbase must be within 2" of factory dimensions. Maximum front end stagger is 2". Wheelbase will be measured from centerline of front spindle to 

centerline of rear axle. Any vehicle not in conformance with wheelbase rules will be assessed a 100lb weight penalty.

17. Firewall must be within 2" of stock location. Firewall will be measured from the centerline of the front spindle to the farthest point away on the firewall. 

Both sides will be measured and the average of the two sides will be the official measurement. Engine must remain in front of firewall. Firewall can not 

be modified for engine placement. Any vehicle not in conformance with the firewall rules will be assessed a 100lb weight penalty.

18. Air bottles on N/A, Supercharged and Turbocharged entries are to be filled with CO2 only. The use of nitrous oxide in place of CO2 is PROHIBITED.
19. All fuels are to be unmodified fuel as produced by manufacturer and must be commercially available. The use of fuel additives to enhance performance 
is PROHIBITED. ALL entries are subject to random fuel check at any time.
20. The use of specially produced "one off" parts that are not commercially available and are deemed to have a performance advantage is PROHIBITED. 
This includes but is not limited to blowers, turbos, torque convertors, nitrous systems etc.
