based on John Sears' Ultra Street rules. Rules are subject to change
if John's rules change.
BODY:
*
Must have working headlights, tail lights, stock appearing interior,
carpet, door panels, factory style dash, stock floor pans and stock
firewall. Firewall may be notched or smoothed as long as it remains
intact and in the stock location.
*
Fiberglass/Carbon body panels are limited to hood, rear deck lid,
fenders, doors, and bumpers. Must be neat
in appearance and not change the basic vehicle dimensions.
*
Lexan windows permitted. Must be neat in appearance.
* Hood height
limited to maximum 8" tall measured from the tallest part of the
hood to base of the windshield (measured with a level sitting on the
tallest part of the hood).
* Forward facing air
inlet feeding induction on any combo add 50lbs.
*
Must measure within 1" of factory wheelbase, body may not be
moved from stock location
* All vehicles must maintain a minimum
ride height of at least 2.5" while at rest and at race weight.
No part my hang down lower that 2.5" off the ground including
exhaust.
* No part of the car may protrude more than 45"
forward of the front spindle centerline.
INTERIOR:

Aftermarket steering columns are allowed.
* Must have carpet and factory type

ELECTRONICS:
* Optical devices are prohibited.
*
Any ignition or EFI permitted.
* Progressive nitrous controllers &
programmable boost controllers allowed.
ENGINE:
*
Aftermarket blocks and cylinder heads are allowed.
* All entries must utilize a single carburetor cast intake manifold.
* Motor plates and solid mounts are allowed. Engine must be in stock location and not touching the stock location firewall.
* Mufflers are required on all vehicles except turbocharged combos.
* All SB power adder engines are limited to 440 cubic inches.
* BOP nitrous engines limited to 470ci
* SB N/A up to 480 cubic inch permitted with added 7 lbs. per cubic inch over 470.
* BB N/A limited to 640.
* Any engine in question will be
measured with a P&G gauge. A correction factor of 1.5% will be
used on P&G measurements. Competitors may be required to remove
a cylinder head for bore and stroke measurements should any
discrepancies arise.
INDUCTION:
* Power adder small
blocks and N/A BB combinations may use a single cast intake manifold
with single carb or EFI.
* Small Block N/A may use cast tunnel
ram/sheetmetal/dual carbs w/weight penalty (See*below)
POWER
ADDERS:
* Power adders limited to SB and BOP entries.
* Progressive nitrous controllers are allowed.
* Nitrous entries must utilize a single stage nitrous plate with all nitrous lines feeding the plate originating from the same solenoid or distribution fitting.
* Foggers must be disconnected and all solenoids must be capped off.
* Nitrous plates using fogger nozzles
or multiple adjustable internal nitrous spray outlets are not
allowed.
* Turbocharged (mid frame turbo only) and supercharged
entries are limited to stock valve angle SB combos only. (SB CHEVY 23
DEGREE - SB FORD 20 DEGREE - 18 DEGREE MOPAR - FACTORY HEADED SMALL
BLOCK FORD MOD MOTOR - LS CHEVY 15 DEGREE)
** NOTE: No raised
runner heads permitted forced induction. SB Chevy 23 degree Raised
Runner, SB Ford 20 degree (SR20, FT1 or T1RI or equivalent) not
permitted with boosted combo
TRANSMISSION:
* Any OEM
style automatic or manual transmission is allowed.
* Manual transmissions must utilize SFI
approved bell housing.
REAR SUSPENSION:
* Stock type
rear suspension or ladder bar only.
* Coil over shocks, anti-roll bars and aftermarket replacement control arms are allowed.
* Stock frame rails must be in factory location, notching permitted.
* Corvette permitted any type of transverse leaf spring rear suspension.
* Wheelie bars are prohibited on all
cars.

What you may want to know if you are an Ultra Street racer coming to run in Street Race.

8. Minimum ground clearance of 3" from the front of the nose to 12" behind centerline of the front axle.
9. Towing will be allowed, you must stop at scales, time slips can be picked up at scales.
10. Deep staging allowed, but track will not wait for a racer to get deep staged. When both pre-staged are activated,
either side stage light will start a 7-second stage count. Failure to activate stage bulb within 7 seconds will result in disqualification/timeout.
Disqualification will be based on a first or worse situation. Rules on controversial situations will be final at the discretion of the race director.

centerline of rear axle. Any vehicle not in conformance with wheelbase rules will be assessed a 100lb weight penalty.
17. Firewall must be within 2" of stock location. Firewall will be measured from the centerline of the front spindle to the farthest point away on the firewall.
Both sides will be measured and the average of the two sides will be the official measurement. Engine must remain in front of firewall. Firewall can not
be modified for engine placement. Any vehicle not in conformance with the firewall rules will be assessed a 100lb weight penalty.
18. Air bottles on N/A, Supercharged and Turbocharged entries are to be filled with CO2 only. The use of nitrous oxide in place of CO2 is PROHIBITED.
19. All fuels are to be unmodified fuel as produced by manufacturer and must be commercially available. The use of fuel additives to enhance performance
is PROHIBITED. ALL entries are subject to random fuel check at any time.
20. The use of specially produced "one off" parts that are not commercially available and are deemed to have a performance advantage is PROHIBITED.
This includes but is not limited to blowers, turbos, torque convertors, nitrous systems etc.
